Terms & Conditions

These are generic terms and conditions we use for all of our competitions. Please make sure to fully understand them before sending in your answers or pictures.

  1. The competition is available to all New Zealands residents except employees of Jigsaw Publishing Ltd and their immediate family. Also any person or company directly involved with the magazine or competition is not allowed to participate.
  2. Residents include people with New Zealand work permits by the way.
  3. You have to be 18 or over to enter the competition.
  4. Each promotion closes on the 20th of the same month the magazine comes out. So if you're looking at the march issue, the deadline is 20th March.
  5. A panel of judges will determine the winner. 
  6. No, you cannot complain if you were not picked! The judges decision will be final.
  7. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
  8. Thank you for reading these terms and conditions! So few people do nowadays.
  9. The prizes are not transferable or exchangable.
  10. We will have to cancel the competition should an event, to which we are giving away tickets, be cancelled.
  11. Jigsaw reserves the right to terminate any competition at any time without prior notice. For example when the sponsor suddenly pulls out or our offices go up in flames.
  12. By entering into our competition you agree that we can use your name, and any of your answers including any photos online and on the magazine for promotional or publicity purposes.
  13. When sending in photos, only send in any photos that actually belong to you and that you have made yourself. No downloading, buying or stealing please.
  14. Your contact information will NOT be published in any way. We only need that in case you actually win and to keep you up to date should you sign up for the Newsletter while filling in the form.
  15. We will NOT share your details with anybody else.
  16. Should you win and accept the prize, you agree to send us high quality versions of any photos you submitted to win the prize. (1MB or bigger normally does the trick)
  17. Any pictures, artwork or text you submit remain your copyright. It does not give anybody permission to use, copy or publish them other than what is specified in these terms and conditions.
  18. By participating in the competition you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
  19. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. So make sure to visit this page before entering a competition just in case we had to change something.
