June Issue

The time has come to let the June issue out into the world.
It was like watching our own baby grow up. Growing bigger
and stronger every day. The new design looks, thanks to
Muireann, totally awesome. Cleaner, easier to read, and more
fun. But don't panic! Only because it looks totally
different means it has changed! We're still talking about
the things you can do in Wellington and you will still find
our wicked sense of humour spread throughout the magazine.
A great thank you goes out to all those writers, bloggers
and hobby novelists who sent in their hidden treasure in
May. Choosing the winner proved to be a very difficult task
as we loved them all! Finally Elizabeth won the competition
with her review on the Parade Cafe down at Oriental. Her
article had all the ingredients for a great hidden treasure
including a personal touch, interesting story, useful
information and written in a way that makes you want to go
there and check it our for yourself! Note that she was not
the only one to send in a review on the Parade Cafe!
Hope you enjoy the June issue and keep that feedback rolling
in. Without it we would not be where we are today!

We were invited to the opening night of two new exhibitions
at TheNewDowse. Flying Solo by John Walsh and Thrill Me
Every Day by Celia Dunlop.
Being the first exhibition we turned up to as Jigsaw made it
a bit awkward for us as we don't know anybody in t he arts
scene yet, but Anna Lee was great in welcoming us to the
exhibition.
